HMI Logic Configuration

AfterThis section describes the Car_Clusterconfiguration sceneprocedure isfor created,using Fusion to transfer gauge (needle) values to text placed in the nextcenter stepof the gauge.

To apply logic to nodes without programming, CGI Studio provides a feature called Behaviors. Behaviors can be used for a variety of purposes without having to create new behaviors by setting the properties of the behaviors prepared for each purpose. One of the uses of behaviors is to configurelink via events. Using events, data can be easily sent between two behaviors.

Fusion combines a behavior tree view that appears to the Displayright setupof viaa selected node in the Renderscene Targetstree panel.(extra Sincescene thetree) Empty template was used, by default it already containsand a defaultproperties Render Target and two Cameras, onepanel for the Scene2Dselected node. This provides an alternative way to manage behaviors. As a result, Fusion allows you to structure your scene interactions in a more graphical and anotherintuitive for Scene3D. way.


Render Target 

A Render Target is a surface/layer which can be drawn upon.

From Camerathe capturesSolution aExplorer, click [ Scenes>Car_Cluster ].
    "Car_Cluster" will appear in the scene ortree. partAn of aextra scene andtree drawswill appear to the captured content onto a Render Target. 

    To draw contents of a Scene to a Render Target, the Cameraright of the scene tree.

    Select the RPMGauge control and in the Extra Scene needstree, toclick be[ connectedFusion... ] in the Extra Scene Tree.
      Switches to the RenderFusion Target.panel and displays the Fusion diagram of the RPMGauge control.

      Double Drag and move the mouse over the connector in the upper right corner of the RPMGauge Fusion node in the Fusion diagram and release left click Scene > Car_Cluster in Solution Explorer.

      • The [ Select Behavior ] dialog will appear.

      Enter "Forward Value" in the search field at the top of the dialog.
        The list of behaviors in the dialog will be narrowed down to [ Value Processing>Forward Value ].

        Double-click [ Forward Value ].
          The RPMGauge Fusion node and the Foward Value Fusion node are connected by a link.

          Click on the select item icon on the right side of the [ TargetNode ] section in the Foward Value Fusion node.
            [ Choose Item ] dialog appears.

            From the list on the left side of the dialog, double-click on [ Scenes>Car_Cluster>RPMGauge_Group>RPMValue tree].
              [ RPMValue ] is displayed in Scenethe Tree.[ TargetNode ] section in the Foward Value Fusion node.

              3.The Inabove operation automatically transfers the RenderTargetvalue panel: Markof the checkboxRPMGauge/SpeedGauge ofcontrol Car_Cluster\DocumentView(0).to RPMValue/SpeedValue.

              4. Uncheck the checkboxes of both Scene2D\Camera, Scene3D\Camera. 

                These two cameras are unused. To check the Display Preview, select View > Display > Display-0 from the menu bar.
